NCFE CACHE Level 1 Award in Preparing to Work in Schools prepare learners for further learning and training whilst developing an understanding of the teaching and learning environment in a school setting. It covers areas such as how to support the well-being of a child or young person and their development.
This qualification is aimed at a range of learners who are thinking of working in a school setting including working with young people, mature learners, learners with special educational needs or where English is an additional language.

The course will be delivered over 6-12 weeks programme ( 1 day per week) First 6 sessions we will cover Level 1 Award and if candidates secure and complete 72 hours volunteer placement then they will progress to Level 2 Award which will extend the programme to 12 weeks gaining Level 1 & 2 Qualification in Preparing to Work in Schools.
Clarion Futures will also provide additional support with CV building/review, interview tips to succeed at a school interview and financial support with DBS payments.
Due to Covid restrictions, the course will be delivered remotely over Zoom.
